PROJECT MULAT ARINJAY DIXIT

My fellow Augustinians, the time has come to join hands to protect the Philippine Freshwater Crocodile which is innocent and is critically endangered. It has done nothing wrong yet, we human beings continue to destroy the crocodile’s home and overhunt it.  We have always been harmful to these wild creatures just because they are wild and they can eat us. But actually, they won’t eat us if we human beings don’t interfere with them and leave them alone so that we human beings and other wild animals can live in harmony. We need to construct national parks or wildlife sanctuaries to protect such magnificent creatures like the Philippine Freshwater Crocodile, we need to spread awareness on how this animal is being exploited just for its skin, and to make programs to save Philippine Freshwater Crocodiles. Thus, we need to unite as one to protect this reptile, or else, we will someday say that there used to be a type of Crocodilian known as the Philippine Freshwater which is now unfortunately extinct.
