We kicked off the show by recapping our weekends and talking about the severe flooding in our area.



Talked about the protesters at yesterday's Travelers Championship, and about the Oilers improbable comeback from being down 0-3 to the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals.



Let you know what's on TV tonight and also shared the news about fake Ozempic making it's way onto the internet. Plus, Justin Timberlake decided NOT to cancel his show in Chicago over the weekend…even talked about his recent arrest on-stage.



Had a great story about a woman that bought a vase at a thrift store, only to find out that it's over 2,000 years old and is a Mayan artifact!



Did you hear that America is bringing it's own AC units to the Olympics in Paris? And speaking of this great country of ours, we took a look at the results of a study done by AAA on 4th of July travel.



An autographed Gretzky stick just sold for a record $336,000!!!



Our Monday Morning Throwback was from 2015 when we talked to Judas Priest guitarist, Richie Faulkner.



We talked about some of the most unhealthy snacks out there, and we also talked about the new all-inclusive Raiders tailgate package that costs $20,000!



During today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a rather large cockroach that interrupted a press conference, a couple of porch pirates that fought over the same package, a Malaysian man who squirted a mixture of his urine & flour on women so he could chat them up, and an update on the "Hawk-TUAH" girl.

Here comes the rain. Looks like it's going to be an extremely wet weekend with showers & thunderstorms in the forecast.



Jean's out today to visit a few college campuses in the Madison area with her daughter, but Brian & Shaw started the day talking about the strange monolith that was just discovered in the Vegas area.



The "Tribute to the Negro Leagues" game was last night between the Cardinals & Giants, and Reggie "Mr. October" Jackson had a very impactful interview regarding his time with the Birmingham A's in the 1960's.



Let you know what's on TV this weekend & what's new in theaters, and we had a great story about a TikTok dude who helped an elementary school in Mississippi hand out free lunches to their students throughout the summer months.



Interesting study from Expedia that found Americans not only get fewer vacation days than any other country in the world, but we also take less of those vacation days.



The Olympic trials continue on NBC this weekend, and there's already been a couple of freak accidents to some potential Olympians.



Played some Atreyu this morning. Looking forward to seeing them at Rock Fest in about a month, and also talked about the upcoming "Neverending Story" sequels.



Had to talk about the great Donald Sutherland, who just passed away at the age of 88. And we took a look at things that happened just five years ago, but feel like they happened an eternity ago.



Got Doc's racing report and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a recall on coffee mugs, an elk poacher who got in big trouble, a country that might start charging politicians that knowingly lie with a crime, a TikTok mom who uses Velcro to keep her kid on the seat on the plane, a woman who tried to sue her ex-bf because he didn't take her to the airport, a wedding gown that caught fire mid-ceremony, and a politician in Michigan who got in trouble with a "dancer" at 2:30 in the morning!

At least the morning was really nice! Looks like some heavy rain is headed our way this weekend.



We started things off with Andy Hughes' version of the Thursday song and talked about his band, TUGG, playing this weekend at Make Music Madison as part of Make Music Day.



In sports, the Grimace streak came to an end for the Mets, which led to Brian talking about what other McDonald's mascots could deliver a first pitch & start a new winning streak.



Discussed yesterday's Joe Gow hearing as he tries to keep his job on the faculty at UWL, and we talked about the upcoming Simone Biles documentary.



Had a great story about a family's pet donkey that went missing five years ago, but was recently seen with a new family.



Justin Timberlake got popped for DUI earlier this week, but said he only had one martini. We wonder if he'll be cancelling shows, including the one in Chicago tomorrow.



Today is the first day of summer, and we asked "What's something that seems easy to others, but is difficult for you?"



Have you seen the 7'9” freshman on the Florida Gators? He’s massive!



During today’s “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about a city in Minnesota that had it’s hydrants opened up illegally, a lawyer who poops in a Pringles can, Tasmania is trying to lure tourists with some unique job opportunities, another strange monolith has appeared, a member of the government in Vermont was busted pouring water in someone’s bag, a guy tried to rob a bank after realizing that the front door was unlocked, a woman who got trapped in her Tesla, and a #FloridaMan who stole some beer.

Going to be wet the next few days…and the dreary weather is accompanied by the sad news of Willie Mays' passing yesterday.



Also had some good news involving a 105 year old woman finally getting her college degree, and a young drummer getting some help with a prosthetic.

We recapped last night's NHL Finals game between the Oilers & Panthers, and we talked about this incredible cover of Creed's "Higher" by a mariachi band.



Discussed the Secret Service Agent who got robbed a gunpoint and a brewery in Milwuakee that's trying to capitalize on some comments made by former President Trump, and we talked about Grimace's impact on the Mets.



After a few weeks off while Brian was on vacation, we finally played a round of "You're Killin' Me, Shaws", and he totally got it!(It was Dom DeLuise in "Cannonball Run")



During today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a list of people that need to be punched, another list that had a much more sinister intent, a guy who was selling moonshine out of the back of his dad's garage, a #FloridaWoman who pulled a gun on some people in a McDonald's drive-thru, a Hellcat driver who got fined over $80,000, a woman in Massachusetts that survived being buried alive on the job site, and a guy who got busted by the cops because he didn't keep his phone on vibrate.

During today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about the news being depressing, a guy who shot himself and then had his gun stolen, a road rage incident that led to a maintenance worker being assaulted, a three-year old walking down the street with a loaded gun, a swearing parrot, a guy who wants to have an A.I. mayor in his town, an assault over a Honey Bun, and a woman who SWATTED a guy because she got cold feet over their first date!
