Today’s topic will introduce you to how you can begin to take better control of your career growth by developing a new mindset… the Merito Mindset; we will explore the second pillar - Develop. Your development starts as early as pre-school and continues all the way through higher education and/or technical training. Some people believe they have learned everything that there was to learn in college or technical training because they associate learning with the classroom setting. However when you join the workforce you are now putting theory into practice and learning your role within the organization, how the organization works, along with staying up to date with any organizational changes. and staying current within your field is part of developing within your career.
