Every week powerful messages are heard at All Nations as we draw near to the Lord in worship and the Word.

    The Fundamentals of Christianity

    The Fundamentals of Christianity

    Fundamentals of Christianity:

The Inerrancy of Scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Virgin Birth. Isaiah 7:14 Matthew 1:18-25
The Substitutionary Death and Atonement of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:21
The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus. Romans 8:11
    The Gospel.
Every person is born into sin. Romans 3:23
Everyone needs a Savior. Luke 19:10
Salvation is by grace alone, a gift of God that cannot be purchased on earned.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
Christians live in a relationship with God through Jesus. Galatians 2:20

Indicators of drifting away from the fundamentals:

    Focus on titles
    Forget daily prayer
    Never fast
    Neglect daily Bible study
    Church attendance becomes optional

Things that cause us to drift:
    Sickness
    Broken relationships
    Pain
    Financial pressure

    Remember:

Pain is not authorized to destroy you but to MAKE you!

God is more concerned with our development that our comfort!
Sometimes God delivers us from the fire, sometimes He makes us fireproof!

We must live in the power of the Spirit! Galatians 5:16 5:22-23 5:25 Romans 8:26 8:14

The Parables of Jesus: Treasure Hunt

The Parables of Jesus: Treasure Hunt

The Parables of Jesus: Treasure Hunt

    Matthew 13:44-46
    June 2, 2024

These parables teach us that the Kingdom of heaven is so valuable that losing
everything here on earth, including your life, is a happy trade-off!
    1. We learn the Kingdom of God is not visible. 2 Corinthians 4:4

    2. We learn the Kingdom of God presents us with a choice. Romans 10:9-13
It is not enough to believe that Jesus lived or that He was a good teacher.
We must decide to surrender our lives to Him.

    3. We learn the Kingdom of God is the source of joy. Mark 8:34-37
Never believe the lie that anything is better than Jesus!

    4. We learn the Kingdom of God may be entered through different circumstances.
Peter was called from his nets.
Paul was struck down on the road to Damascus.

    5. We learn the Kingdom of God is priceless. 1 Corinthians 2:2 Philippians 3:7-9
Jim Elliot, “He is no fool to give up what he cannot keep to gain what he
    cannot lose.”

    YOU ARE THE TREASURE!

Jesus gave up everything to buy you back from the hand of Satan!

    Hebrews 12:1-2

    Foundations

    Foundations

    FOUNDATIONS Luke 6:46-49 May 19, 2024
The foundation is the most important part of a structure. The depth of the foundation is influenced by external pressures against it.
In this parable, Jesus says the same is true for human beings.
In this parable, two men were doing the same thing, building a house. difference-the foundation.
1 Corinthians 3:11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:5-10 Jesus is the Cornerstone, the foundation to build upon.
The real test of your foundation is obedience to the commands of Jesus.
John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commands.”
John 14:21 “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.”
John 14:24 “Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching.”
Many claim to be Christians but in reality are just functioning atheists. Giving lip service to Jesus but living their lives as though He doesn’t exist.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping

The Law of Sowing and Reaping

    Galatians 6:7-8
Who would dare to deny that actions have consequences? Yet Paul wrote, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked.” The truth is, we may give verbal assent to the Law of Sowing and Reaping but continue to excuse ourselves from its ramifications.
Everyone sows seed, what is produced is determined by the kind of seed. Paul says there are only two kinds-no exceptions!
You can’t sow seeds of rebellion, immorality, lies…and pray for crop failure!
Remember: Today is the father of tomorrow.
The Law of Sowing and Reaping is unalterable, and it affects everyone in every area of life, family, career and pleasure.
Deception is the root cause of sinful, indulgent lifestyles.
Remember: 2 Corinthians 5:10 “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
Three aspects of the Law of Sowing and Reaping:
    1. We reap what we sow. Galatians 6:8
Remember: Sin takes you further than you wanted to go, Keeps you longer than you wanted to stay, and Costs you more than you wanted to pay.
    2. We reap more than we sow. Matthew 13:23 Hosea 8:7
A small decision to do either good or bad, reaps a bigger crop for either joy or sorrow.
    3. We reap later than we sow. Galatians 6:9
Some crops we reap quickly; others take a long time. But do not be deceived—their season will come.
Every action, big or small, good or evil, is a seed.
Jeremiah 17:10 “The Lord will give to every man the fruit of his doings.” When we stand before God Almighty for judgment, we shall give an account not only of our own acts, but also of the influence of our acts upon each successive generation. What will your influence be? What will be your harvest? That depends on the seeds you are sowing today.
