Chapter 21 - Kynan Forney Beyond the Game Podcast

Special guest Kynan Forney joins us on the 21 episode of Beyond the Game Podcast. Coach Forney is originally from Nacogdoches, Texas and began his career at Trinity Valley community college. After winning the JUCO National Championship with a 12-0 record, he took his talents to the University of Hawaii. Earning unanimous 1st team All-Western Athletic Conference honors with Hawaii, Forney was selected to play in the Senior Bowl All Star Game in Mobile, AL. In 2001, Forney was drafted in the seventh round, pick 219, to the Atlanta Falcons. Went on to have a great 7 year run with the Bird Birds before finishing up the latter part of his career with the Chargers and the Jaguars. Coach Forney ended his career with the following accolades: Unanimous 1st team All Conference at the JUCO level, Selected to the TVCC Cardinal Hall of Fame, Unanimous 1st team All-Western Athletic Conference, ESPN All Pro,  Ranked 54th on the Top 100 Best Players in Atlanta Falcons History, All Falcons Decade Team.
