GRACE & TRUTH with Tunde Udomah Tunde Udomah

The gospel is the testament to the grace of God. Acts 20:24 "But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."

The Bible is about the eternal truth (spiritual realities) about our origin as human beings; why we were created by God; God's purpose for us, the origin of evil; God's plan of redemption for us; and our eternity with or without God. These are the weightier matters of the soul and heart that no scientific or other concepts of truth (religion) can satisfactorily ministry to. Jesus came to reveal the truth about God, life, purpose, evil, good, death, and life beyond death. All the revelation and answers Jesus gives is good news (gospel), because in them we find true freedom from sin, guilt, shame and condemnation; we find meaning, purpose and eternal life with God. John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Jesus is the incarnation of God, to reveal the Person, Nature, and Character of God to humanity. This is why He said to Philip in John's gospel, chapter 14, verse 9 "he that has seen me has seen the Father. What do we see about Jesus in the scriptures, and hence about God the Father? Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about DOING GOOD, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Jesus went everywhere in the power of the Spirit and ordination of the Father, doing good, showing grace. He said, "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME, HE DOETH THE WORKS." (John 14:10). Jesus is the express image of the Father, and the brightness of His glory - Grace & Truth. Look to Jesus, and you will see and understand the Father God, and His love heart for you.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of GRACE and TRUTH. The glory of God revealed in the Person of Jesus was captioned "full of GRACE" (God's unearned favours and goodness) and "TRUTH" (God's eternal reality). God was manifested in the flesh (Jesus), so humanity can become acquainted with His Person and Nature; and that is what Jesus revealed, God's grace and truth. We must drop the veil of religion, and reject its lies, so we can breathe the fresh air of God's grace and truth, which is His supply to meet our eternal and earthly needs. God bless as you listen.
