Prolific as a writer and producer !llmind has released multiple albums under his own name, as well as working in various guises with artists such as Drake, Kanye West, J Cole, Dr Dre & 50 Cent, and labels such as Cash Money, Def Jam and Aftermath. 

Recent years have seen Illmind embrace online platforms and communication channels to build an engaged audience across Instagram and Twitch, with his beatmaking Twitch sessions watched by aspiring musicians all around the world.

This education element to his activities has expanded out to running a producer focused subscription service, beat packs and holding in-studio sessions with up and coming producers. In short he's one of the busiest and most successful producers we know and it was great to chat to him about his career, production techniques and equipment, and his plans for the future.

This month we are featuring Emmy Award winner Damien Quintard who has has produced artists such as Teodor Currentzis, Brian Eno, Arca, and participated in major productions such as the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony of Baku and the DAU project, an immersive art installation in Paris.

Captivated with the idea of breaking sonic barriers and finding new ways of mixing and producing, he founded The Mono Company in 2018. In this first episode of the new HEDD Audio 'HEDDcast ' founder Dr Frederick Knop is in conversation with producer, sound designer and audio engineer Richard Devine.

Richard Devine is an award-winning sound designer and electronic composer whose sounds are applied to consumer products worldwide that range from smartphones to electric cars and touch on leading-edge areas such as AI and Virtual/Augmented reality environments. Richard has worked with the likes of Sony, Microsoft, Google, Jaguar, BMW, and Nike.

With topics ranging from audio production, mastering and studio techniques Richard also talks about his new EP as well as his experience with HEDD Audio products.
