Big Idea:  God doesn’t forget about his people.  He has a timing and purpose for everything.



Who is God?




With the plagues He showed He is the only true God. (Exodus 7:5)



With the Passover He reveals He is the deliverer.(Exodus 12:17)



Through the 10 commandments He showed us He has expectations. (Exodus 20:20)



Through establishment of priests He showed us He is Holy. (Exodus 40:12-15)



Through the tabernacle He showed his desire to dwell with his people. (Exodus 25:8)




We learn that following God equates to patience, promise, and pursuit.

But…




Abram deceived (Genesis 12:11-13)

Abram showed a lack of leadership (Genesis 16:1-2)




So why did God choose Abram for His plan?
