LONFLD podcast review
This is a tough one. I will be s thorough as I can:
- The two stars are all for Jon Ledyard. He is awesome. It is clear he watches tape, he is funny, he has a good personality He is one of the best in the Draft bussiness with Brugler, Duffy and Fennell. His only fault, though a minor one, is his absurd concept of what a first-round grade is.
- Trevor Sikkema, however, is absolutely awful. It is so obvious he doesn’t watch tape or he doesn’t understand what he is watching. He doesn’t understand the game. All he does is repeat stupid cliches about evaluating and talking about about mental aspects of the game. He bases his evaluations off two Senior Bowl practices, or off a guy’s swag, or off what Marino and Ledyard say about a prospect. Wordt of all is he keeps interrupting Jon when he is saying important and interesting things, to start with bad jokes or cliches.
Jon may no wanna hear this, but the podcast would be much better with a guy who knows the game with its X’s & O’s.
To sum up:
- Ledyard: No penalty
- Sikkema: Two-star penalty.
- Too many commercials: One-star penalty.
