ABOUT KRISTI MCLELLAND
Kristi McLelland is a speaker, teacher, and college professor. Since completing her Masters of Arts in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary, she has dedicated her life to discipleship, to teaching people how to study the Bible for themselves, and to writing about how God is better than we ever knew by explaining the Bible through a Middle Eastern lens. Her great desire for people to truly experience the love of God birthed a ministry in which she leads biblical study trips to Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Italy.

Aunt P also shares the danger of not dealing with our own shame, as well as provides tools to help our girls recognize, talk about, and fight shame.

In Lifeway Women’s newest Bible study, Alive, you’ll walk through the basic, fundamental beliefs of the Christian faith. Blair Linne was one of the writers for the study, and one of the topics she wrote about is being a child of God. This week on MARKED, Elizabeth is joined by Laura Magness as cohost, who was one of the editors for the Alive study. Angie and Whitney have a vulnerable conversation about their own unique journeys, the complexities of our bodies, the messages we tell ourselves about them, and how we function in them as temples of the Holy Spirit.

Today is a bittersweet episode as we say goodbye to Kelly King as cohost of MARKED. Kelly recently moved to Oklahoma to accept a position as the women’s minister at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. We will miss her, but we are so excited for her new adventure!

To celebrate her time on MARKED, we invited several surprise guests on the podcast to talk about how working with Kelly has "marked" them. We hope this episode models how to celebrate a leader well.
