Can Jews and Muslims share a conversation after October 7th? We decided to begin the 4th season of #GoyFriendly giving it a try with a special guest in these difficult times. Ummar Lee (@UmarLeeIII in X / @UmarLeee in Youtube) was born in Missouri in a Christian home and converted to Islam as a teenager, an experience that came with a very negative view towards Jews and Israel. But as years went by, his curiosity, his readings and his need to understand different points of view moved him to travel to Israel and see things with his own eyes.

¿Es posible que judíos y musulmanes puedan conversar después del 7 de Octubre? Decidimos empezar la temporada 4 de #GoyFriendly intentándolo con un invitado especial en estos tiempos difíciles. Ummar Lee (@UmarLeeIII en X / @UmarLeee en Youtube) nació en un hogar cristiano en Missouri y de adolescente se convirtió al Islam, una experiencia que incluía una visión muy negativa hacia los judíos e Israel. Pero con el paso de los años entre su curiosidad, sus lecturas y sus necesidad de entender diferentes puntos de vista sintió la motivación de conocer Israel y ver las cosas con sus propios ojos.
