Ep. 10 - Podlings - Barbie, Billie, Madmen
This week on Sounds From The Cellar, we return with another in our series of Podlings - shorter episodes that let you know the band a little bit better.
This week, we do a little something different. Nick sings his beautiful take of Billie Eilish’s Oscar winning song from last year’s blockbuster, Barbie.
Which should be a nice reward after you listen to a bunch of dudes talk about the movie and it's impact… -
Ep. 9 - Peter Gunz
This week on Sounds From The Cellar, our guest is NYC Hip-Hop legend, Peter Gunz. It doesn’t get more entertaining, charming or disarming than Pete…
Always an open book, we talk to Pete about it all: from his chart-topping days with Lord Tariq to his complicated TV stardom in Love & Hip-Hop NYC. We get real about growing up in the Bronx and tough family matters.
Pete is family (oh, and future correspondent for the show!) and this episode will get your sides splitting, your heart pumping and your HEAD BOPPIN’! -
Ep. 8 - Podlings - Mike Davis
This week on Sounds From The Cellar, we return with another in our series of Podlings - shorter episodes that let you know the band a little bit better. Next up, it’s the legendary Mike Davis.
What can one say about the man? Legit one of the best male vocalists you could wish to hear, with a career and stories to match. We talk about his life in music, from his beginnings in church to his arrival in the village and record deals and beyond.
Treat yourself to his rendition of the Stevie Wonder classic, “For Once In My Life” at the end of the episodes. Mike brings out easily one of the band’s best performances to date on the pod. Enjoy! -
Ep. 7 - Jennifer Hartswick
This week on Sounds From The Cellar, our guest is the exceptionally talented, Jennifer Hartswick. As formidable a singing force as she is a trumpeter, she’s played the biggest stages with some truly legendary names as well as representing her own impressive record catalogue.
We talk about growing up in a family of classical brass players, her long-standing collaborative friendship with our own Nick Cassarino, reiki practice and much more… -
Ep. 6 - Podlings - Colin Smith
This week, another Podling - a new series of shorter episodes with a spotlight on the band and who's in it.
Next up, Colin Smith, our Irish singer-songwriter, balladeer, viking. We talk about his Dublin beginnings, coming to America with his former band MrNorth, getting inside the song. We even put him on the spot with a sing-writing challenge
