The Border Patrol rolls into the 3rd hour getting the weekend weather forecast from KSHB 41's Jeff Penner.  Then Steven talks hoops with former Michigan State basketball player and basketball analyst Daimon Beathea.  Damon gives his thoughts game 1 of the NBA Finals and shares how he think this series will play out.  Then he talks about the possibility of the Lakers hiring Danny Hurley and the domino effect it could have on the college basketball landscape.  Then SSJ catches up with good friend and World Series MVP Bret Saberhagen.   Sabes talks about his charity SabesWings and what its all about.  He also shares how listeners can help and be a part of an great event SSJ and Sabes are putting together.

We close out our Thursday's show in traditional fashion as we go to school with Jesse Newell the Chiefs beat writer for the KC Star.  Steven gets Jesse's thoughts on the resigning Mecole Hardman and where is shakes out in the wide receiver room.  The guys also rank their top 5 coaches in the NFL and Jake and Jesse get into over one of Jesse's selections.  Also they wrap the show up with some more discussion on Dan Hurley possibly taking the Lakers job.

In the third hour of the show Steven is joined by former Chiefs Anthony Sherman and Gehrig Dieter in studio for their weekly segments.  Dieter rushes back to be in studio and Sherm weighs in on UCONN possibly losing Danny Hurley to the Lakers.  Then the guys are on Live when the breaking news that Mecole Hardman is resigning with Kansas City.  The guys talk about the wide receiver position for the Chiefs.
