Richard Gonzalez UW-AAB, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA, AKC-CGC, DTIP, USMC, first started learning positive reinforcement (R+) with dogs in January 2010. Melissa McCue-McGrath, CPDT-KA, is the author of “Considerations for the City Dog“, the urban dog's handbook. Additionally, she's the co-Training Director of New England Dog Training Club (the oldest AKC Obedience club in the country). In this episode, we discuss tips for navigating the city with dogs and considering the environment as a consideration in animal placement from rescue and breeding.
