-
U Springin' Springsteen On My Bean? - High Hopes
Scott and Scott go track by track through Springo’s eighteenth studio album, High Hopes (as well as the following American Beauty EP), a collection of older songs, cover songs and outtakes that Da Boss still considers one of his proper records. They learn how the Netflix show Lilyhammer directly led to High Hopes and craft their own ultimate editions of the album. Plus: elementary school square dances, and the eternal question, “What is it?”
-
U Springin' Springsteen On My Bean? - Wrecking Ball
Adam Scott Aukerman go track-by-track through Da Boss’s seventeenth studio album, Wrecking Ball—Bruce’s most political album since Tom Joad. The Scotts also discuss how new producer Ron Aniello got involved and how Bruce handled the death of Edible Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons. Plus, they talk about the types of classes at Margaritaville High School and ask, “Are hammocks more trouble than they’re worth?”
-
U Springin' Springsteen On My Bean? - Working on a Dream
Scott and Scott go track-by-track through Springsteen’s sixteenth studio album, Working on a Dream. They also discuss stocking stuffer gifts and their ideal Super Bowl halftime performance before a special guest calls in to recount an encounter with Da Boss man himself.
-
U Springin' Springsteen On My Bean? - Magic
Adam Scott Aukerman go track-by-track through Da Boss’s fifteenth studio album, Magic—a high energy rock album and Bruce’s return to writing great poppy melodies. Incredible mess
An incredible mess of the greatest band EVER, R.E.M resonates within my entire life and with your incredibly weird mix of nerdiness, funny and spot on information you bring back all of the memories of an amazing band. Looking forward to listening every episode of this silly little pop podcast.

Hello Scott
As a guy who likes music but doesn't take it TOO seriously I really enjoy this podcast. It's definitely a weird experiment that keeps getting better and more focused as each episode arrives. Lester Bangs was a really interesting guest and it's fun to hear how the Scotts get frustrated with each other and the podcast on several occasions. I wish Scott (the Hot Tub Time Machine 2 one) would keep doing a weekly podcast after this one is finished (hopefully not a Huey Lewis one).
