Of course, primarily this is about the first item on that list - and Eliza has just released a gem of an album called Pickpocket, and while it's full of the journey through the grief of attempting to have a child and feeling like you've tried everything, the music somehow has the ability to ease the pain and bring comfort...and hope.

Get ready for the psychedelic soul of Moustapha Noumbissi - Philly-based multi-instrumentalist who music is emerging and on the rise right now.

Born in Belgium to Cameroonian parents, Moustapha grew up a participant of many musical traditions, including West African drumming, American pop, and choral music.

We get in to all of that and then some...how he acquired his guitar from his college roommate before he even knew how to play, how his enormous hands impacted his learning and playing of the guitar, and how being an athlete shaped his approach to music.  And he will play live during the interview!

Brian Walker is on a mission to spread good vibes.  He achieves this through many, many ways.  Of course our focus today will be to feel those vibes through his music and his band A Day Without Love.

Take a moment to spend some time as we hear about his early inspirations, how his poetry got turned in to the first songs, and how one of them, inspired by the ugliness of domestic violence that he helped stop, became the band name and launched the mission to help others rise above their own struggles.

98...99...100!!  We've been livestreaming and publishing podcasts for almost 2 years now, releasing content weekly for the majority of that time, and we are now at our 100th episode.  Can't believe it!  Thank you all so much for tuning in, downloading, and trusting us to introduce you to "your next favorite band".

To help us honor the century mark, we'll be joined first by George Wacker of Lehigh Valley with Love, who provided a platform for this idea to germinate, then by Blair Crimmins who was the very first guest I ever interviewed, and then by Carver Commodore, who were the band that made me feel validated throughout the process of inviting, prepping, interviewing and the various shenanigans that follow.  We also may have another surprise or two up our sleeves as well for the broadcast.

Do you think you can play like Django?  How about Radus?  Well think again, and tune in for our in-person convo with incredible finger-pickin singer-songwriter Alex Radus and prepare for "genre whiplash"!

We sit down with him and learn about how people recognized his talent at a young age, earning him the opportunity to attend the Augusta Heritage Center - dedicated to the preservation of traditional American styles of music and performance.  There he is inspired by the sounds and mentors, learns many different styles of playing, begins writing the music he was meant to create, meets Maria Woodford to form the folk duo Duende and they start busking/touring across the country....and the rest is history.

Now a resident and part of the fabric of the rich Lehigh Valley music scene, Alex continues to perform throughout the area solo, as a trio, and as the recently formed rock group Hot4Robot along with Dave Cahill.

Alex performs acoustic - "No Control" from his catalog, and "Just Human" from the Hot4Robot album.

This interview and the performances were recorded at the Bethlehem location of Lost Tavern Brewing.
