He is an orthopaedic surgeon who has been instrumental in setting up the College of Surgeons of East and Southern Africa (COSECSA), the Oxford Global Surgery group and recently built the CURE children’s hospital of Zimbabwe. He discusses a case from much earlier in his career where context made a big difference to to his differential diagnosis.
