Episode 323 Teddy Atlas is a First Class Father, a legendary Boxing Trainer and ESPN Boxing Commentator. Teddy trained as an amateur boxer with Hall of Fame trainer Cus D'Amato and eventually worked as his assistant. He has trained many fighters over the years including Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer, Barry McGuigan, Timothy Bradley and so many others. Teddy has been a long time Boxing commentator for ESPN as well as the Boxing Commentator for NBC’s Olympics coverage in Sydney (2000), Athens (2004), Beijing (2008), London (2012) and Rio de Janeiro (2016). In this Episode, Teddy shares his Fatherhood journey, he discusses the Fatherless Crisis and how boxing helps kids with no father figure in their life, he makes the case for a comparison between training fighters and parenting children, he talks about the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation named after his father and how the foundation helps the inner city youth, he describes his experience of becoming a grandfather, he makes a comparison of the marketing between the UFC and Boxing, he offers some great advice for new or about to be Dads and more!
