Is My Child Ready for Montessori?

As Montessorians, we believe the method has value for humans at every stage of life, starting at the earliest moments and continuing on until our final days. However, there are definitely periods when we are showing signs of readiness for something new. What are those signs? How do we know when our toddlers are ready to begin their journey with the Primary materials? Join Aubrey and David on YouTube as they explore this (very frequently asked) topic!

Insightful, warm, kind, wise

I listen to Aubrey’s podcasts on a daily basis when I do chores; usually half an episode during the day, and half while washing dishes at night. Personally it has made my chore-time so enjoyable. I truly benefit and love Aubrey's virtual company. She is insightful, warm, kind and wise. She often does her research well before an episode and if you listen you can tell; in explaining a term/ situation/ answering a question, she gives you the Montessori philosophy together with scientific research on children development, of course with her personal experience. I often feel her views are very unbiased and well-researched. I also appreciate her as moment for gratitude’ and ‘Montessori magic’ in all episodes, full of surprises and make me feel grounded when reflecting on things I’m grateful for. Thanks Aubrey, I find parenting less lonely because of you. You have no idea how you have impacted my life. Love from Malaysia.
