Positive thinking is filled with pride due to personal manipulation of the spiritual realm. Faith is filled with humility due to the recognition that your power comes from God. Positive thinking is all about the creation; faith is all about the Creator. Positive thinking is about satisfying self; faith is about glorifying God.

Positive thinking begins and ends with the human mind. Faith is a product of the human spirit. Positive thinking attempts to attain happiness as a result of thinking positive thoughts. Faith provides joy under all circumstances. Positive thinking focuses on thinking positive thoughts. Faith thinks according to the Word of God. Positive thinking hopes to possess the objects of its thoughts. Faith possesses the rights, privileges, and benefits that God has already provided. Positive thinking gives the credit to man. Faith gives the glory to God. Positive thinking strives to win in life based on the ability to maintain a positive attitude. Faith has already secured the victory and responds to the circumstances in life with thanksgiving.

Heavenly Father help me pay close attention to myself so that I can grow as a person. I pray that I persevere in all things, especially in spreading Your gospel with motivation and determination because Your Word says that You will ensure my salvation when I do so. I pray that I do not become discouraged by the world, instead help me push through the trials and tribulations I face in Jesus Name, Amen.
