    Labels and Fears

Labels and Fears is a poem that talks about the journey of a girl who has been labelled by her near and dear ones because of her appearance, academics, fears, self-doubts and sociability as a result she developed core schemas of negative self image. She explores her past to find out why she feels depressed and vulnerable even after excelling in academics and being the best at everything. Society's labels traumatized her psyche even later in her life that made her isolate herself from the rest of the world.

    The Stigma

    The Stigma

The Stigma is a poem which revolves around the perception of people towards mental health issues and urges the survivors and also the people going through depression or bipolar disorder or any other difficult times in their lives to reach out for help and not bottle up their pain and feelings. The apathy of people towards psychological disorders makes it necessary to break this stigma that the society holds for psychological disorders and so to spread awareness about the pain one deals with during such times made me compose this poem.
