09.05.2022 - On Monday, 9 May on #Lifestyle Thuthula spoke to Siphokazo Mdlankomo aka Chef Sipho who will be sharing her story from Domestic Worker to Master Chef; she was born in the Eastern Cape in Mthatha.She came to Cape Town in 2001 to find a job, she indeed did find a job as a domestic worker in Bantry Bay - this is where her passion for cooking was ignited, after some time she changed jobs and worked as a domestic worker for a family (The Andreasens) in Newlands. The role with this new family involved more cooking...which Chef Sipho saw as an opportunity to harness her gift. She then started entering cooking competitions such as: Top Ten Home Cooks, SA KIA COOKOFF and recently Masterchef which put her name on the map. In 2016 Royco (MARS) came onboard as the sponsor for her cooking show LETS EAT WITH SIPHOKAZI which airs on DSTV Mzantsi magic. Currently she is a brand Ambassador for PICK N PAY. In 2021 she released her second cook book titled: Hearty Home Food with Sipho. This afternoon Chef Sipho will be sharing her incredible story of courage, tenacity and sheer belief in her purpose and that life had more to offer her.

04.04.2022 - On #Lifestyle on Monday, 4 April, we spoke to Orapetswa Khanya Shine Moloinyane; founder of online market place called klikafrica. Orapetswe is passionate about Africa, she believes the time has come to restore Africa. She provides African with a platform to showcase their products and services. This is a gateway to the global markets; she believes that in this online space huge insustries can be created across the continent. Orapetswe studied small business developmemt through the University of Stellenbosch Business School, she finished top of her calls in 2022.

04.04.2022 - On Monday, 4 April on #Lifestyle TC spoke to Yvonne Wakefield the founder of 'The Warrior Project' which is an online portal that offers information and resources to victims of domestic and gender-based violence. The web-based service includes a free legal helpline managed by a women-only team at LawForAll along with links to the police; helplines and counselling services; as well as a list of shelters. Its associated social media sites also provide for sharing of stories to educate and inspire those in abusive relationships who feel alone and incapable of making a change.
