Dangit, we had fun tonight - a bunch of friends showed up and we talked about the amazing women voices in music... thanks to our visitors (South Oz, DJ, JLow, Coach and all the others)  this turned out to be another award winning show!!!!
 
We discussed bands/singers like Lisa Gerrard, Texas (again), 4non-blondes, a busker - Allie Sherlock, (Cranberries) Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner, Saint Etienne, Til Tuesday, Diana Ross, Heart, Elena Siegman, Lianne La Havas, the Cranberries (original), Allie Sherlock (busker), Lana Del Rey (Emilie Hanie), Eric Krasno (not a female singer)... but who are we to deny our fans of tunes?), Six and the Sevens ( El Carpe brother band)
 
as always, join us for a in depth geological dig through some sort of musical listener generated archive... and be part of our crew with a "pour me another brother" 

A soulful evening with Low Standards and whatever... Cindy Lauper, Tash Sultana, Ruthie Foster, the Heavy, Thornetta Davis, FC/Kahuna, Charles Bradley... Curtis Harding, Leon Bridges, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gary Clark Jr., Aretha Franklin ... and the Black Keys and probably more we forgot about (the show is a fluid dynamic and we can't track everything - sheesh) ... Echo Sax No 10 - and likely more amazing tunes - played and discussed...

Pour me another brother

Tonite was a great show, El Carpe and I broadcasted out of my garage, so we could enjoy a warm and Michigan picturesque spring evening. Cheezy I know. We had some Yuengling Black and Tans and a historic show it was...It was a time to just ketchup on what was happening in our lives and enjoy the music. In October we are attending The The & Johnny Marr / James concerts down at the Masonic Temple...so we thought it was appropriate to spin some tunes by them. We also talked about Minneapolis band The Replacements, Assemble Head and Sunburst Sound, New Candys, L.A Witch and a few others...Part 1 of 2

This show was definitely impromptu! A quick ketchup and we led into some phenomenal bands...some "up and coming", some been around for a while (1973). These were some of the bands we showcased:

Tonight was all about moms... and a bunch of other stuff.  Give us a listen as we discuss the importance of how we were raised... and well, we ran off course and rambled about all sorts of other stuff.  Music was involved.
