He's an architectural designer, San Diego local and skateboarding enthusiast. He takes us through a lesson on Southern California surf culture and how it originated, how it evolved into skateboarding, and the culmination of the Southern CA surf scene! We chat about a proposal he is working on called "skateable urbanism", which creates a link between public transit, park and city planning, and of course- skateboarding! From there, we dive into a range of other fun and interesting topics like ADU's and maybe a thing or two about foldable bikes?!?!

This week we chat with Supannee House, from Supannee House of Thai in Point Loma! This is my favorite Thai restaurant in San Diego.

One of the first things she said to me was "We cook for our customers like we are cooking for our Family!" We chat about her catering business serving at events, weddings and corporate lunches, how her Family all have roles in the business and restaurant, and her love of gardening! In fact, most of the ingredients are grown by her and her Sister, Chef Wan, at their gardens in Point Loma and El Cajon. They cook with fresh, authentic ingredients like grass fed beef and seafood from local fishermen.

They are just getting ready to re-open for dine in service again. So please support this wonderful local restaurant and business as they re-open! I know you’ll be hungry after listening to this interview!
