Well, it didn’t take long for us to take a little detour from the books to discuss recent news in the WoT world.  There’s been another announcement regarding taking Wheel of Time source material and turning it into a movie.  What will this movie look like? How will we wrap our heads around new actors for Ishamael and Lanfear now that we love the actors in the WoT show? How deep will they go into the darkness that makes up who the Forsaken become? We are back in the books!  This is a spoiler free episode if you have read up to Fires of Heaven, through chapter fifteen, which happens to be Amber’s favorite chapter in the entire series.  There’s a heavy load of sarcasm added to that statement and you should listen to find out why.  There’s other stuff that happens that’s definitely on the lighter side, most importantly we are introduced to Valan Luca’s caravan of circus performers.  Are those whippets in sparkly tutus we see? Before you jump in we want you to know, full spoilers for the books and the show.  

The Wheel of Time is filled with couples, but how believable are some of these relationships?  Are they all needed? Is there any true “romance” found in the book series?  The tv series has a chance to do things differently, and indeed has shown us endearing moments that build on the romances barely fleshed out in the books as well as places where maybe certain couples aren’t going to make it to the screen.
