In our first episode back after a bit of a hiatus, I talk to my friend Michelle Miller about the Spina Bifida Association of Northeastern New York. As Vice Chair of the Association, and a woman who has Spina Bifida herself, Michelle is a fount of knowledge on the subject of Spina Bifida: she speaks from a place of caring and personal experience. Michelle introduced me to SBANENY and through her encouragement, I was able to learn more about Spina Bifida, learn more about SBANENY, and make plans to lend a hand and participate in some of the amazingly wonderful events they have going.
