A friendship formed over their passion of "alternate music" from swapping cassettes in the school yard to underage entry into some of Sydneys' dirtiest music venues, seeing folklore gigs from Nirvana to Jane's Addiction. Paul & Andrew where raised on the blood, sweat and vomit of the 90s' grunge era.
While these two friends travelled different paths in life, the love of music has kept their friendship strong for 30 years.
Now they have launched a search for the reasons behind why the music that influenced us from the age of 14-20 years old still has a resounding effect on our lives today.
The stories that this search uncover are at the core of this podcast and they intend to find some answers both factual and spiritual.

Andrew and Paul’s first guests for season 2 are adventure film makers Matt Gilsenan and Blake Thornton.
Over the years with the growth of their friendship, after meetings as teenagers surfing brought them together, and desire to encourage each other to push boundaries and out of their comfort zones brought these two close mates to the world’s extremes.
And now we get to share in that with them.
7 years has culminated in their first feature length film due to be released 19th of February 2022.
During the podcast we dive deep about a wide range of subjects related to film making, including the use of music in film and how they decide what tracks will accompany what scenes. ( and we get to find out who is the secret Backstreet Boys fan 😎).

This episode is very close to our hearts, on the 16th of March 2020 the Australian Government was forced to instigate an entire shut out of all social venues, which effectively made every musician jobless not to mention every live venue, event, festival, sound crew, lighting, catering.
The ripple effect is huge and today we sit down via Skype (due to self isolation) with Gallie a brilliant singer/song writer/Father and Nick Martin (Nick The Genius) Major events producer to (and Father) to really feel the emotion many are going through right now.

Music to me is like having a bunch of friends, it’s company. I can hang out with friends that inspire me, friends from way back , friends from every different walk of life depending on what kind of mood I’m in.
