Ep 32 Negative Self-Talk
Dear Girl Mom,
Are you familiar with the phrase of how we can each be our own worst critic? I wonder, have you ever felt as if the track in your head is stuck on repeat with negative and critical thinking? Or maybe you consistently hear it being played out in your own daughter’s attitude, relationships with others, and/or communication with family around the homefront?
Join us today as we speak about not only our own personal struggles with negative self-talk, but how we have chosen to combat it. May we link arms and bow together exercising our faith and the discipline it takes to think on all that is commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. May we set an example and embolden this younger generation we are seeking to raise well, all in the glory of God.
Love,
Stacy & Nicole

Ep 31 When Our Kids Aren’t Happy
Dear Girl Mom,
Throughout our parenting journey, there’s a tension between knowing our kids need to learn valuable lessons and the desire to make sure they’re happy. However, we know in our hearts that happiness isn’t guaranteed in this life. Not for us, and not for our children.
Jesus even tells us that in this life we will have trouble. So how do we reconcile that in our parenting? How do we help walk our girls through seasons when they simply aren’t happy due to their circumstances? And the big question: How do we practice being ok when our daughter is anything but?
Thanks for joining us today. We hope this conversation encourages you wherever you are today.
Love,
Nicole and Stacy

Ep 30 Fun Questions for Moms
Dear Girl Mom,
As the gift of motherhood unfolds, it is natural that we start asking ourselves questions upon stepping into the new role. Not only that, the questions keep building as each milestone is hit, the relationships with our daughters ebb and flow, and as life hits us with difference scenarios and circumstances.
We thought it would be fun to consider some of the most Frequently Asked Questions of Motherhood and take a stab at sharing our insight, knowledge, and potential wisdom. No matter what part of the journey you find yourself on, we hope our time together will prove to be beneficial in many ways. And, as always, we hope there will be humility and laughter along the way.

Ep 29 Thoughts For New Moms
Dear Girl Mom,
The seasons of motherhood are interconnected, one flowing into the next, until you realize you have a full grown child on your hands! Today we’re looking back at the very beginning, and would love to offer advice for moms just starting their journey.
We hope you’ll join us as we reflect back on the early years and follow the thread of God’s grace, realizing how He equips us as moms to grow and learn right alongside our children.
Love,
Nicole & Stacy

Ep 28 Finding Joy
Dear Girl Mom,
Do you recall those moments in life that have been filled with deep, joy-filled, belly-laughing? Do you remember what brought on those occasions of rib-tickling hilarity and playfulness?
Although we are blessed in motherhood with many moments of zeal, it is also filled with many ups and downs. There is little doubt that there are more times than we can count where life takes the wind out of our sails. Our adult daily living can be filled with exhausting work, crushing responsibilities, and very few moments where we break out into gut-splitting laughter.
Yet, Proverbs 17:22 reminds us how ”A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” So, how can we find more moments of laughter, joy, and cheer and share it with those around us? How do we resonate joy and pour it out for our daughters, even as we endure life’s difficult circumstances?
Join us today as we reflect upon these things. We pray you will be encouraged and blessed as you spend these precious moments with us.
Love,
Stacy & Nicole
