In episode 144 we spoke with a Los Angeles hometown hero. Brandon Salaam Bey Bailey aka Watts Stix is a community fixture in his hometown of Watts California. He recently received the key to the city of Watts. He’s a community leader, artist, and he has become a legend in Los Angeles for being the only person in the city to work with all four major sports teams for community improvement. He’s also a pioneer in creating krump dancing. He’s responsible for working with the Clippers in putting up 16 basketball courts in Watts, he has partnered with Beyond Meat to do vegan food drives, and his nonprofit organization Thinkwatts foundation does weekly community give back initiatives for children and adults.
