Today the country is deteriorating in all of its aspects, and our music is failing. We are seeing how the music lyrics are solely based on women, including denigrating women rather than appreciating them. 
We have become misogynistic. Those responsible are DJs and most Haitian musicians.  There needs to be an effort to change this pattern and start addressing issues about the environment, social issues, and the economy.
In other words, anything that does not bring our women down needs our respect. As a result, we can contribute to touching the national consciousness through our empowering lyrical texts.
