VOCAB TIME!! After receiving my 5th graders vocabulary list for this week I was inspired to sit with these words and implement them for myself. Want to join?

1. Accomplish- to complete a task successful

2. Anxious- to feel nervous and worried

3. Assemble- to come together

4. Decipher- to figure out something that is difficult to understand

5. Distracted- to draw your attention away from what you were doing

6. Navigate- to find your way over or through something

7. Options- choices or alternatives

8. Retrace- to go back over

This was my response.

I would share the following with my younger self:

1) You’re never “the only one,” release yourself from shame.

2) Re-parent yourself when necessary

3) Sensitivity to other people's feelings is a great asset.

4) Take ownership, stop blaming.

5) Reimagine the possibilities, every single one of them!

It’s day 30 of my journey in the kindness games and I have the honor of sending a shout out to the Kindness to crusader himself, Lee Oughton.

Lee, your superpower is positivity! Your origin story is where you draw your strength. Your intentional interactions change hearts. Your voice of truth and hope is influencing the world one kind moment at a time.

Thank you for being available. Thank you for sharing the journey. Thank you for leading the way. Although the finish line is here I can’t help but feel like this is only the beginning.

May what you have begun resound deeper, wider, farther and longer than you could have ever imagined. Here’s to a future where kindness matters a whole lot!
