145. Journey through 2nd Peter - Part 6
(2 Peter 3:1 - 10)
Today, we begin the third and final chapter of 2nd Peter. If this book contains Peter's last and most important thoughts for the Christians of his day, then this chapter contains perhaps his most important thoughts in this book.
In this teaching, we discuss the kind of heart that ultimately finds God. We emphasize the place of desire and why all desires must ultimately be submitted to Christ. We end this teaching by looking into 'the Day of the Lord' and what it means for the believer.

Today, we wrap up the second chapter of 2nd Peter. With conversations around honor for authority, paying attention to covetousness, greed and lust. We spent the latter part of this teaching discussing how to view the church of God - a place where everyone is on a different stage in their journey of salvation.

Today, we head into the second chapter of 2 Peter. In this study, we begin a reading exercise where we compare with Jude to see where the similarities lie.
We spend a great deal of time in verses 6-9 as we discuss what it means to live in a godless world today. It's a teaching that would no doubt stir you up to pray.

Today, we wrap up the first chapter of 2 Peter. And as we do so, we emphasize what is clearly one of Peter's biggest part of Christian living - Repetition and Remembrance. We discuss the place of prophecy and the confidence we have knowing that Jesus really did rise from the dead. It's a teaching that would encourage you greatly.
