Today the world is awash with the entertainment industry churning out programs involving angels, magic, and the living dead. Many Christian denominations teach that a person’s soul immediately goes to heaven or hell when someone dies. Other religions teach that the dead go to a spirit world when they die, or are re-incarnated into a different life form. What really happens to us when we die? Today’s lesson will explore what the Bible has to say on this important topic.

There was an earnest interest in the time prophecies of Daniel during the early 19th century, specifically the cleansing of the sanctuary (the 2,300 year prophecy which ended in 1844). Today’s study will look further into this important topic, and will explore the ministry of Jesus Christ in the heavenly sanctuary.

God has offered His peace to a chaotic world. Our world needs peace and hope for the future—people know it, but most don’t want it, not God’s way anyway.
