Pride is indifference to others, scepticism, lack of forgiveness, resistance to change erc. These are learned behaviours - learned from the secular world as we each believe ourselves to be the centre of the universe.



Pride is the root of most other sin. We should ask for the Holy Spirit's help to transform our minds (v2).



We also need to exercise humilty to overcome our natural inclination pride. We need to live like Christ.

We finish our study of the Gospel of John. We see that there is a purpose to everything in scripture as we reflect on this closing passage.



We see that we should trust and follow Jesus even if we don't know why. We should do this regardless of others circumstances and we should rely on his word.

We continue our study of the Gospel of John. In today's passage we look at the Jesus's conversation with Simon Peter and see how we can love and serve Jesus. We should be serving Him out of love for Him and we do that by loving and serving others. We see that loving Jesus is the heart of service and by doing that we tend his sheep and experience grace.
