BONUS - Psalm 129[130] for the 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B - With The Lord There Is Mercy And Fullness Of Redemption

    Cf. Ps 26: 1-2
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; whom should I dread?
When those who do evil draw near, they stumble and fall.

    Responsorial Psalm 129(130)

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord,
     Lord, hear my voice!
O let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleading.

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

If you, O Lord, should mark our guilt,
     Lord, who would survive?
But with you is found forgiveness:
     for this we revere you.

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

My soul is waiting for the Lord.
     I count on his word.
My soul is longing for the Lord
     more than watchman for daybreak.
(Let the watchman count on daybreak
     and Israel on the Lord.)

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

Because with the Lord there is mercy
     and fullness of redemption,
    Israel indeed he will redeem
     from all its iniquity.

With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

The designs of his Heart are from age to age,
to rescue their souls from death,
and to keep them alive in famine.

    Responsorial Psalm Isaiah 12

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

    Truly, God is my salvation,

     from the wells of salvation.

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

A Special Message from the Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary

    Special Message

Psalm 117(118) - Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His love has no end
Gospel - John 20:1-9 He must rise from the dead.

What started off as just an idea, has, with God’s grace, become a reality, and our collection of Caribbean psalms is complete.
To our clergy, our parishioners, and everyone who has been with us along the way, we thank you for your support and encouragement. We thank you for listening and praying along with us. A special thank you to our families, without whom we would not have been able to dedicate our time and talent to this undertaking.
We pray that you will continue to sing along with these psalms, to the glory of God, our Heavenly Father.
The Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary, Verdun, St. John, Barbados.

We wish you a Blessed and Holy Easter.

    Cf. Ps 138: 18, 5-6

Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil - Psalm 41(42):2-3,5,42:3-4 after the 7th Reading

Holy Saturday, the Easter Vigil - Psalm 41(42):2-3,5,42:3-4 after the 7th Reading

    Psalm 41(42):2-3,5,42:3-4

Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God.

My soul is thirsting for God,
     the God of my life;
when can I enter and see
     the face of God?

Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God.

    These things will I remember
as I pour out my soul:
how I would lead the rejoicing crowd
     into the house of God,
amid cries of gladness and thanksgiving,
     the throng wild with joy.

Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God.

    O send forth your light and your truth;
     let these be my guide.
Let them bring me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you dwell.

Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God.

And I will come to the altar of God,
     the God of my joy.
My redeemer, I will thank you on the harp,
     O God, my God.

Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God.
