Simply put God is Omnipresent meaning He is Everywhere all the time period.

Jesus was persecuted and betrayed during his earthly Ministry and as a servent of His we have to expect the same treatment.but we are promised by Jesus not to be afraid bcoz God would take care of us and if God said it you can believe it bcoz He is not a man that he would lie.
