We're sticking with a summer theme for this episode and looking back at England's international tournaments of the 1990s. Ash Rose and Ed Chambers are joined by Stuart Steelyard as they chat through the US Cup, Umbro Cup and Le Tournoi as the three different flavours of international friendly fun. What did we all do in those summers without a major tournament? We didn't even have social media or the internet to feed our football hunger. Ash Rose and Ed Chambers look back at what we did in the 90s and recall the long wait for transfer news, seeing new kits in Match and Shoot and relying on end of season videos to get their football fix. STILL Alive and Kicking EPS 13 - Paul Stewart and Darren Anderton
In a final look back at the 'class of 1992-93' and the famous Alive and Kicking advert, we speak to Tottenham duo Paul Stewart and Darren Anderton. The pair may not have featured in the poster for Sky's promotion, but were very much part of the advert thanks to some classic cheesy scenes of the era. Stewart talks through his role as well as his move to Liverpool that summer, while there's a look back at Anderton's rise to stardom after his move from Portsmouth. Keep it 90s!
