Hi! I’m so grateful you are here.

I’m a mom of 2, a wife, a homemaker, and a holistic social worker specialized in maternal mental health and child safety and development. I have a virtual private practice where I meet with moms 1:1, and am currently a student in holistic nutrition, focusing on naturally supporting mothers through pregnancy, postpartum, and delivery and supporting their babies after that. Whether that’s basic nutrition and health needs, or specific conditions they need help with.

On this podcast I’ll dive into all things motherhood and natural health. Our feelings, emotions, behaviours, and thoughts are all deeply intertwined with our bodies and physical health. This marriage of mind and body affects our daily functioning, our relationships, and the way we perceive our own lives and the world around us.

I believe in choosing, seeking, and finding happiness in motherhood. I believe in being informed and confident to take charge of our own lives and our families. With my background and endless research and learning from moms like you, I will bring up topics about motherhood, natural health, low-tox living, mental health, pregnancy, postpartum, protecting our kids, and more.

As mothers there is a lot to know. We are led to believe that we are better off trusting and following generic guidelines set by higher authorities for our health, education, safety, and nutrition. I believe that equipped with the right information, we can take charge and make informed decisions that will best support our unique individual needs, our health and wellbeing, and the health and safety of our children.

I host interviews with experts and moms, share resources, research, experiences from my personal and professional life, and will regularly host Q+A episodes to answer your questions. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m determined to find them and it so happens that I’m quite good at knowing how and where to look!

The 2 takeaways of this podcast are that you are not alone and nothing is taboo. Together, we can work towards being happy, healthy, informed, and thriving in motherhood.

You can find me on instagram @beingmaman and head to my website www.beingmaman.com for more resources, information, and product recommendations for all stages of motherhood.
