In this episode we talk about angel investments from both the investor and the startup point of view. Our guest, Andrew Rea, has experience with both. He’s a former founder, VC, and is currently helping run On Deck Angels, a community-based program that helps Angel Investors get better at investing.

Chris serves as the President of OhioX, Ohio's technology and innovation partnership. He is also a co-founder and partner at GreenBlock, a strategic communications and innovation consultancy firm.

Previously, Chris served as the Chief of Staff and Director of Communications at the Ohio Treasurer’s office where he managed an $18 million annual operating budget and a staff of 125 employees that is responsible for the State Treasury’s $22 billion investment portfolio, $224 billion pension custody portfolio, $11 billion debt portfolio, and more than $62 billion of state revenue. Before that, he worked on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C
