Ep 4: Amy Perkins | Mindset, Momentum, And Taking Action To Align Your Life With Your Passions Authentic Act

    • Mental Health

In this episode I talk with Amy Perkins who is a speaker, consultant, and coach and she shares her journey with us on how her mindfulness coupled with action, lead to following her true passions.

In May of 2018, Amy walked away from a 25-year career in education. After witnessing leaders who were not leading with integrity, she made the choice to quit and stand up for what she truly believed in.  Amys passion has always been teaching. Whether it was the kindergarteners she had the honor of working with 25 years ago, or the teachers she coached the past 17 years as a consultant, it's in her soul.

We follow Amys journey with starting several businesses, consulting engagements and now public speaking, but for Amy, more importantly, aligning her life with what she was truly passionate about. A true passion ignited for her when she lost one of her best friends. She knew then, being grateful for everything in life, was the biggest motivating factor anyone could have and that she would continue living the best life for herself and the ones she cared about the most.

Now, Amy is  making a difference on a much broader scale. Through her consulting, coaching, speaking and online courses Amy is showing others how to unlock their confidence and courage. Amy is able to do what she loves, on my terms, working with leaders who share the same core values.

Amy has also started a new business endeavor. Every GAL Chardonnay is launching Fall 2019. Amy and two of her dearest friends from Napa created a wine bottled to INSPIRE, one glass at a time. Their purpose driven company will give back to causes near and dear to women everywhere. It's a passion project born out of a desire to make a difference. In Amys mid-forties she changed the entire trajectory of her life. If you have the desire to change, the belief it is possible, and you take daily action, you can do anything. Amy Perkins is proof.
