Mental: Surviving Depression (Silent Sadness Series)

Cohosts Michelle Collins, PK Langley and Seth Showalter sit down for the final installment of the "Silent Sadness Series" to explore coping strategies for depression. After embracing vulnerability via a mental minute, the team shares both professional and personal experiences regarding coping strategies. The team clarifies the difference between what is a "healthy" coping mechanism versus a "unhealthy" coping mechanism. In discussing unhealthy coping strategies, they also explore potential co-morbid diagnoses and/or struggles a person may experience. The idea behind this episode is to provide you with actual tools that you can use to fight depression if this is something you experience.

    Mental: The Art of Argument

    Mental: The Art of Argument

Rather than finishing out the month with the last episode of the Shattered Image Series, Michelle and Seth decided to break things up with an extended mental minute. In this episode, they discuss the "art of argument" by venting through their own recent frustrations with conflict resolution. Seth owns up to being really bad at conflict resolution while Michelle provides real life experience along with suggestions at working through it. This is a rare episode in that it is not part of a series but a stand alone episode!
