8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 The only way to receive this gift of Grace is through believing Jesus as Lord and Savior. Our salvation is not based on our good works. This Grace is freely given to us. Unmerited favor from God. Jesus gave himself for us. He paid for our sin at the cross. The benefits of the cross was given to us. And that is GRACE!

The key to our relationship with others in this world is our security in our identity and relationship with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. No matter what happens, we belong to the Family of God and we are his children. Find security in this as you hold fast the Word of Life and it will affect your relationship with other people.

In the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, It is Christ in us that allows us to shine. Shine knowing the promotion you have received from God in Christ, as you were raised and seated with Him and given the same power and authority. Shine with a humble mind renewed in Him. Shine knowing you are blameless and harmless in Christ. Shine!

Let this mind be in us which was also in Christ. Thinking of others, not just ourselves. Fulfilling others’ needs which is the secret to true happiness. Doing things not of selfish ambition but making ourselves of no reputation, serving one another in love. Let us take up our own cross by laying our life for other people. Humbling ourselves by serving others.

Our behavior does not save us but it expresses Christ in us. After all, it is the grace of God that brought us salvation and it is also teaches us good behavior. So let our conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ. It might be the only sample of grace for other people to see Jesus Christ even in this lifetime and for them to come to the knowledge of His saving grace. This is why behavior matters.

Christ is the Head of the Church. We are His body.  We are important members of this body. We have different grace gifts. Take instructions from Jesus who is the Head. He is the one who leads us, As part of the Body, let us focus on Him. Let us love one another not judge one another. We have different functions for the Glory of God and for the edification of the saints.
