Jesus didn't hold back with His words in the Sermon on the Mount. He addressed adultery, lust, and divorce all to show that we have a problem with our heart and need His redemption.

Jesus didn't hold back any punches when it came to addressing the heart of the problem of the people before Him: their hearts. Today, we talk about anger. Unresolved anger: anger that festers and grows. And how God views this anger in the lives of His people.

Rules! We love em and we hate them! But even Jesus talked about rules. Tonight we begin diving into the meat of the sermon on the mount when Jesus said that He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. (Video is from the Bible Project)

We continue working through the sermon on the mount and today we finish the 'introduction' of this passage in Matthew. Jesus used the Beatitudes and 3 images to introduce the sermon, to call His Kingdom People to be in His Kingdom and shine His kingdom around the world.
