We are joined by, Dr. Tammy Greer, disguised professor of Political Science to discuss State & Local Politics of Georgia and Black Politics, in addition to providing context behind which Atlanta is falsely regarded as being the "Black Mecca" of the south. She also highlights the importance and affects of municipal elected officials on every day life. Because of the impact elected officials have on everyday life, as well as democracy being a DO, it is important to mention that the city of Atlanta has municipal elections upcoming in November 2021.
