What do you do when you enter an empty tomb‪?‬ GoodTheology

    • Christianity

How do we handle emptiness? How do we handle our lives when we walk into a tomb, into a place where emptiness resides? It is a question we can only begin to tackle on this episode of GoodTheology.

The scripture used to help tackle this question comes from the Gospel according to John , chapter 20, verses 1-18 and is read from the Common English Bible (CEB).

As always, we would love to hear from you so, please feel encouraged to email us if you have any questions regarding a message you have heard, a theological question you might have, or anything else. We're happy to try and answer them through this podcast. Please send us your questions to goodtheology@icloud.com or visit us online at https://goodtheology.life

Our centering prayer for this week is: Our Ears to hear you, Our Eyes to see you, Our Behavior to share you. Glory be to you God, Source of All Being, Incarnate Word and Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

The poem used in this episode of GoodTheology comes from DoctorWho, Season 10, Episode 6: “Goodness is not goodness that seeks advantage. Good is good in the final hour, in the deepest pit without hope, without witness, without reward. Virtue is only virtue in extremis. This is what he believes, and this is the reason above all, I love him. My husband. My madman in a box. My Doctor.”
