In an industry largely dominated by male figures, it's absolutely important to spotlight the women doing amazing and excellent work within the space regardless of the imbalance in representation.
We're more than excited to have our very first female guest on the podcast!
Our guest today is Feyisola Ogunbanjo, popularly known as Kulupsy!
Kulupsy is an event consultant, project/product manager and music consultant with over 10 years of experience in the space.
In her time, she has successfully handled the management and execution of several events including the NSG Roots Tour, Wurld Live, Odunsi's Denim Party and a lot more!
She currently works as the A&R Coordinator at Native records and is the MD/CEO of Kulupsy Media Company, a creative solutions company.

We're joined on this episode by Auxxie (a.k.a YoAuxxi, Auxxwithdavibe)!!
With only a few years in the music industry, Auxxie has built an incredibly impressive catalogue across music production and engineering with artistes including Ckay, Amaarae, Tar1q, Kendu (f.k.a Talksiick), Zarion Uti, Nyma and a ton of other acts.
Known notably for his work with Ckay on ‘Felony’ and ‘Show My Side’ of the 2021 'Boyfriend' EP, he has shown a true mastery of the art of accurately conveying emotions through his music.
Not bound by genres, his skill set allows him to stretch across genres including Afrobeat, Hip-hop, R&B, Pop, Amapiano etc.
On this first part of the conversation, we take a deep dive into his early encounters with music, the origin of his producer tags and working with the indie recording artistes he's met in his journey in the industry.

On this episode, we're joined by music producer, engineer and songwriter, Dave October
David Ibukunoluwa Owolabi known professionally as Dave October is a producer, engineer and songwriter who has worked with incredible talents across the world including Tems, Nonso Amadi, Cobhams Asuquo, Tolani, Sute Iwar, Veeiye, YKB, Ogranya, Chris Rio and ton of other talented music creatives in different capacities.
He is a part of ODDIO, a music production duo with his partner, Tejiri who recently won a grammy award for his work on 'Wait For You' with Future and Tems.
He is also the founder of WeBetterMusic, a platform that creates resources, curates techniques and tips to help producers and songwriters become better at their craft.
