Lukogho was raised in Southern California, graduated from San Jose State University in the Silicon Valley with her undergrad degree, and holds an MBA from Howard University. She was born in The Democratic Republic of Congo, and has had the privilege of living in The USA, DRC,  Kenya, and Ghana. She has also authored the book "DO Death For a Life Better Lived", in which she seeks to transform how we live our lives, by helping us build a better relationship with death. Through her DO Lecture, book, and Doing Death Organization, Amanda is inviting us to accept death as a natural part of life and to live life more consciously.

    Amanda is also an end-of-life doula, and works in hospice care, in addition to running a Death Cafe in Hertfordshire, UK.
