It's for the Badass Asian Dudes who seek deeper exploration in their emotional intelligence, their masculinity and femininity, and their cultural identity.On this podcast, we challenge our guests to get real. We talk to Asian male-identifying entrepreneurs, investors, thought leaders, therapists/coaches, entertainers, experts, researchers, etc. about how they managed their internal experience and external obstacles to get to where they are today. Badass Asian Dudes Excel With The Responsibility Entrusted To Him (ft. Mike Hoang, KM Communities)
In this episode, we talk with Mike Hoang, who was able to retire early through real estate.
Mike is the owner of KM Communities, a social enterprise merging residential real estate investment and community development in Oklahoma City. Mike was on the founding board of directors and is the current President of the Asian District Cultural Association. He was recognized as among the top up and coming leaders in Oklahoma City under 30 years old becoming financially independent at the age of 31. As a public speaker, Mike uses his experience in business and his family’s journey as immigrants to the US as a platform to influence and inspire others. He has been invited to speak around the country and has spoken to crowds upward of 25,000 people. Mike accounts his drive in business and leadership to his family’s Vietnamese heritage and his faith.
We hit on a wide range of topics in this episode, from business, real estate, financial independence, spirituality, cultural identity, and masculinity.

Badass Asian Dudes Pursue Their Passions With Confidence (ft. B. Kim, singer/songwriter)
In this episode, we have Brian Kim (B.Kim). B.Kim is a singer-songwriter, music producer, and dancer who grew up in the Northern Virginia area. Growing up music has always been a part of his life. It all started with old-school R&B music, introduced by older friends, and K-Pop. Both of these factors are key initial influences on why B.Kim is who he is now. It wasn't until the first day of his first 9-5 job that he realized music was more than the silly song covers and troll dance videos he posted. While taking it more seriously, that's when he learned how to produce, mix, and create full songs. He has also performed live in Virginia, Washington D.C., New York City, and more both musically and with his dance team. He is now living in New York City and finding more inspiration and making more moves to eventually make music his ultimate career.

Badass Asian Dudes Maintain Humility Without Yielding To It (ft. Nish Bhat, serial entrepreneur and investor in BioTech)
In this episode, we have Nishant Bhat, serial entrepreneur who co-founded Color Genomics, which is valued at over $4.6 billion, and BioTech investor, having launched the SciFounder Fellowship to invest in budding BioTech companies. We talk about Nish's journey, from having grown up with East Asian and Indian culture, to his career successes, to his transition to providing opportunities and guidance to budding scientist-entrepreneurs. This is all the while maintaining humility and appreciation for the people and environment that made him the way his is, without yielding it to it by losing drive.
