It's crazy the world we live in. Continually feels like we are more and more isolated where it's hard to find the answers. I can't promise that I'll have the answers but we can work on this together.

This show aims to shed light on the experiences of others like you that deal with anxiety, ADHD,and depression through relatable experiences. It's not all serious though! This podcast seeks to break the mold of making it hard to discuss this between others so we can validate ourselves.

Life is difficult and that's okay, know that you aren't alone in this world and someone is always here to help

    Institutionalized Success

That song was K.K. Western btw!

In this episode I talk about my identity, what it means to be successful and finding the things that fill your soul :)

    Episode notes:

    The loop:
1: Excitement phase Where everything is new and interesting and the learning is great
2: Work loop Where you get comfortable with your new responsibilities and you tolerate it.
Your stable, Your happy, you can trust the day to day wont change so much
3: Repetition and recognition of the loop Where you notice all the things you do but it's not as fulfilling as it once was.
Every little thing starts becoming recognized and it bothers you. It bothers you because the comfort isn't satisfying
4: Breaking from the loop to pursue something new.

I was aimlessly running forward chasing pursuit without really thinking why. I just knew I needed to get paid.
It's a rare moment but when you see the cockpit of your life seeing yourself behind the wheel it's kinda hard to ignore.
You hear about the inner child and going back to the things you love. Wanting to feel those strong emotions without realizing I only got to those points because I was able to try the little things that allowed me to have those big reactive moments.
    Here now:
So I'm at this point now where I know I don't care about really having the career where I'm not doing what fills my soul.
I want to say that I'm not trying to talk down to others that do aspire towards this path. Everyone has that job that fills their personal cup.
I know the typical 9-5 is draining so many people right now. Especially now where the stability is so important.
Our values of what this stability means for each-other is being questioned and is changing. It's good that we're keeping our minds open to something new.
If you take anything from this try getting back to that spot where if all your expenses were being paid for what would you do with that free time? What things fill your soul? If your in a tight spot maybe it's finally time to find that love you have to give and find the things that fill your soul.

This is a bit of a different episode. Completely unedited. Just talking stream of consciousness. I want to do this from time to time just to make myself confident of the stuff I put out there. Being okay with the mistakes, and for transparency sake hearing a real conversation from myself.
