    I’m proud to share that my Hemoglobin A1C levels have been in a remarkably healthy range for several years, consistently between 5.5 and 5.8 🌟. My latest A1C, taken a few months ago, was 5.8. I started this podcast to show everyone affected by diabetes that it’s entirely possible to live a healthy, vibrant, and boundless life with this condition. While I’m in school to become a physician's assistant specializing in endocrinology, I’ll be releasing new episodes periodically.

    Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Jason Robinson, the author of "The Beginner Traveler's Guide to Going Nomad" and a type 1 diabetic who received his diagnosis as an adult 🌍📚.     🚴🏼‍♀️ The Tour de Cure is back in Ann Arbor 2023, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it! 🎉

    At the 65-mile rest stop, I met incredible Red riders, provided refreshing treats, and helped manage their blood sugars. My sons, Sage and Sultan, also joined as volunteers and experienced the amazing spirit of the riders. 🙌

    Exciting news! I had an inspiring interview with Fox 2 News for the second year. As the American Diabetes Ambassador, my mission is to promote healthy living and empower others on their diabetic journeys. 💪

    I discussed the dangers of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, stressing the importance of monitoring, eating well, and staying active. Taking care of insulin, mental health, and physical well-being is crucial. 💙

    Losing my grandmother to Type 1 diabetes and seeing my father's battle with Type 2 diabetes ignited my passion to spread awareness and bring hope. With my A1C at 5.7, I'm proof that meticulous care leads to vibrant lives despite the condition. 💫

    Through personal stories, I emphasized that with proper management and lifestyle choices, we can have a lifespan comparable to those without diabetes. Let's face challenges with determination, resilience, and hope. Together, we can conquer anything! 🌟
